Tabletop Gaming 101 (Las Vegas/Henderson)
One shot adventures are done in one 3-5 hour session.
They are a collaborative short story that the players tell together as a group. This also makes for amazing team-building exercises and can strengthen bonds, work through issues, and encourage problem-solving.
No game session EVER plays out the same. One group of players may avoid a combat encounter, another may run into combat with weapons raised and a yell of fury.
How Do I Get Started?
Step 1: Go to the Characters page and choose a pregenerated character.
Step 2: Select I’m Ready in the menu to send your choice to the Game Master
Step 3: Go to the Eventbrite page and choose your adventure and session date. Reserve your seat.
Games are held in a welcoming at-home environment to preserve that “friends playing around the table”. The location is in the Henderson area near Sunset Station. After the session is booked, the street address will be sent to you.

For new players and returning players, I recommend starting with The Tevarian Tomb. That is our beginner level 1 adventure. By the end of the night, you’ll be ready to join a campaign or come back and experience the newest Copper Dragon Adventure.
The Tevarian Tomb is designed with new players in mind. Created as a lesson while you play, players with little or no experience can learn gameplay in a practical way without fear of errors. The table is filled with other beginner to intermediate players, all eager to embark on an adventure! We play at a slower pace with lots of explanations so newer players can learn.
Players that used to play previous editions of D&D years ago can feel unsure of how to get started with 5th edition rules. The Tevarian Tomb allows veterans to play at a slower pace to get used to the differences.
One benefit to starting your journey with The Tevarian Tomb is that it is the first of the Copper Dragon series of adventures. The adventures are true one-shots. You can begin with any adventure, however, there are cross-references and some NPCs may seem familiar if you go in order.
There are new new adventures released every 3 months. Our newest adventure is Garlyn’s Quest: Starbane Tower. Several of them are linked but not always. Steampunk, space, and various fandoms shape some of the upcoming adventures we have planned.
